When tying on waist beads do not suck in your stomach.
One strand includes up to 45 inches of beads with several inches of string on each end to tie. Two strands can be tied together if your waist is larger than 45 inches. Extra beads can be slipped off the ends to resize smaller, if needed. Excess string and beads can be used to make a matching anklet or bracelet!! The strand is meant for long term wear.
